POOL RULES & REGULATIONS

Your safety and the safety of others is our primary concern. These rules are not all inclusive. The lifeguard on duty has the final decision in all matters of safety, regardless of rules.

1. All patrons must shower before entering pool or whirlpool as required by the NC Dept of Health.
2. Parent must accompany all children under six years of age.
3. No children six years of age and older will be allowed in opposite sex locker room.
4. Limited use of flotation devices will be allowed during family and youth open swim. Inflatable flotation devices are not permitted in pool.
5. Members 18 years of age and older are permitted in whirlpool and sauna.
6. It is recommended that the following persons abstain from using the whirlpool and sauna: those with a heart condition, high blood pressure, those who are on medication or are pregnant.
7. Ten minute limit in whirlpool and sauna.
8. Bathing suits only permitted in the pool. No T-shirts, cutoffs, or other clothing allowed in the pool.
9. Diving permitted in the deep end only during designated times.
10. A maximum of 60 people are permitted in the pool at one time.

ADULT OPEN

1. Lap swimming permitted in lanes only. Those swimming laps in open space must be aware of others and must yield right of way.
2. Priority is given to those wishing to water walk, water jog and exercise.

ADULT LAP SWIM

1 Ages 16 and older permitted.
2. Continuous swimming is required.
3. Fins, masks and /or snorkels permitted in lanes with one or two people only.
4. Circle swimming to the right is required in lanes occupied by 3 or more people.
5. Notify all persons in occupied lane BEFORE entering lane. Enter at shallow end.

LAP SWIM

1. Open to persons age 13 and older.

2. All Adult Lap Swim rules (except change in age limit) apply.
